Drupal Camp Asheville is excited to announce an afternoon of contributions on Friday, July 10, 2020!
A contribution day is a get-together for focused work on a project. Contribution days are an important part of Drupal's growth and are also a great opportunity to get involved because others are on hand to help you contribute.
Join us from 1:00 - 4:30 pm EDT.
There will be a general contribution space in Zoom and text-based communications will be in the Drupal Asheville Slack channel: #contributions
Who Should Attend?
Everyone! If you are interested in contributing to Drupal core or contributed projects, this is your chance. You don't need to be a developer to contribute; we need project managers, bug reporters, QA testers, people to help write documentation, etc. If you are a developer, but not sure where to get started, we have mentors to show you the ropes.
For a guided introduction to the tools and processes, we use to collaborate, sign up for the Contributing Back to Drupal training in the morning and start contributing in the afternoon.
Proposed Initiatives
Issue Tag Triage for DrupalCon Global
DrupalCon Global is July 14-17 and there will be contribution events that whole week. Let's get the issue queue ready for the big event by triaging and fielding issues.
Documentation
Help lower the barrier to Drupal contributions by helping improve the supporting documentation.
